The ‘Kick TB’ campaign is merciless in its onslaught against TB!!!  The ‘Kick TB’ team rolled up their sleeves and surged through 8 primary schools in Gauteng and also did TB Awareness programs at many ‘hot spots during the course of the week – focusing on shopping malls, taxi ranks and places where the public in general were gathered.  Approximately 9450 learners were reached!  Thank you to the Gauteng Provincial Department of Health for their hard work and for helping with all the logistics:  you are winners!  Thank you also to all the ‘Kick TB’ partners and funders for their support in helping us bring this invaluable TB awareness campaign to the learners of South Africa!

Learners physically get the opportunity to enact that TB is a curable disease. Here a girl is seen 'kicking' the TB symptom 'coughing'.
